This is definitely one of my favorite new products. A lot of Argan Oils on the market right now are quite hair type specific, but I find this one is quite versatile. It leaves the hair feeling soft, super high in shine, and helps maintain the overall strength of the hair when used on a regular basis. When using any type of Argan Oil, remember a little goes a long way.
To really do a vamp up of your hair, bringing it from dull and dry to lustrous and full of moisture you want to start off with a great shampoo and conditioner. I like to start with the Oribe Signature Shampoo, and move to the Oribe Signature Moisture Masque. Leave the Masque in your hair for five to ten minutes, applying some heat. This can be from a blow-dryer, heading down to the Steam Room or Sauna, or filling your bathroom with hot steam from the shower.
Next rinse your hair with cooler water, not super cold just a bit cooler than usual. Add a dime sized amount of the Milkshake Argan Oil, and Blow-dry, or air dry as normal.
Argan Oil can be used after every wash, acting as a protector from heat, and harsh elements. Adding the Masque to the mix once or twice a month will ensure youmaintain the health of your hair throughout all of the heat styling.
Back in late November, I tweeted about how my office Christmas party was going to have a Prohibition era/Roaring 20s theme and how I was researching marcel wave tutorials online. I’ve never used a curling iron on myself before, and after some anxiety about burning myself, I decided to put myself in the hands of a pro. Best decision ever, hands down. Chris Funk at BeautyMark did a fantastic job curling and sculpting this 20s-inspired ‘do into place.
As for the outfit, I tried to put together a look using pieces I already had in my closet. The only thing I ended up buying was the pink feather clip from H&M.
